We met again today with Dr. Crews. She told us that the bone marrow biopsy came back clear, and that the PET Scan only showed activity in the one spot on Ben's back where they removed the lump in the first place. She showed us the biopsy of it and it showed that the lymphoma went clear to the edge of it, so he needs to go back in on the 17th and have more removed, getting all of it and some into healthy cells. She spoke with her colleague, a famous Lymphoma Doctor at Duke named Dr. Jon P. Gockerman and his reccomendation in this situation is to surgically remove the affected area, and then just watch it. Ben will need to be checked often and we will surely be a lot more viligent in reporting abnormalities, but we feel we have truly seen a miracle worked. How grateful we are to have caught this very early, and to not have to go through radiation or chemotherapy. We are truly grateful for everyones fasting and prayers and know that the Lord has answered them and blessed us!
